How to Create a Music Session
First, you need an “Object” to make sounds. Press “CREATE”, and select what you wanna make.
There are 5 ways to create objects (and make them move!)
Draw Something--Just like finger painting… with music!
You can tell your object what to do by making rules for it. Tell it how to move, grow, ring, or go away!
Press the “Edit” button in the menu, then touch the object you wanna change, and its editor will pop-up.
▼ “Edit” Screen
The rules for an object are “Musical Instrument”, “Behavior”, “Range”, “Key”, “Pitch”, “Loop”, “Speed” and “Movement”.
Musical Instrument -- Change the way it sounds. The “microphone” button lets you record new sounds. The box-shaped icon lets you bring in sound files from Dropbox.
To erase an object, press the “Delete” button, it looks like a Garbage Can, and it’s in the upper right corner of the edit screen. You’ll be asked “Are you sure?” so choose “It’s OK” to get rid of the object.
Move objects by touching one, and flicking it around! They’ll keep moving even after you stop touching it.
You can share your object with other players if you join a workshop somewhere. Ask workshop staff about how to actually get started at the workshop.
In order to save (archive) your session, press “HOME” in the menu and then choose “Save As a New File”. All your sessions will be shown in the HOME screen.
